Robert Bullock, a Mississippi Gulf Coast native, discovered his passion for fashion at an early age, becoming a self-taught designer skilled in draping, pattern making, and sewing. His career began in Atlanta designing accessories and ready-to-wear fashions before moving to New Orleans, where he gained valuable experience in manufacturing and production. In 1990, Robert moved to New York City and launched Robert Bullock Hats, quickly earning recognition in Women's Wear Daily and securing placement in prestigious retailers such as Neiman Marcus and Barneys. In 1993, he partnered with Steven Birnbaum to establish Birnbaum & Bullock, a luxury couture bridal collection celebrated for its timeless elegance and sophisticated designs. Driven by his desire to make couture-inspired bridal fashion more accessible, Robert launched Robert Bullock Bride in 2009, offering beautiful gowns at approachable price points without compromising style or quality. Today, Robert Bullock Bride remains his most successful venture, embodying his signature aesthetic of effortless romance, refined sophistication, and timeless bridal beauty.
